Jake Owen: Artist in Residence - A Tribute to Gilberto Gil

A free Lobby Stage concert honoring Gilberto Gil, the Brazilian music icon whose six-decade career has shaped generations of artists across Brazil and beyond. Guitarist, producer, and composer Jake Owen, the venue's artist in residence, leads the evening with special guests Daví Vieira, Gustavo Di Dalva, and Alexia Bomtempo. Bahia-born percussionists Vieira and Di Dalva have performed and toured with Gil and both appeared in David Byrne's American Utopia, while Brazilian-American singer-songwriter Bomtempo moves between Brazilian traditions, American song, and Tropicália. The night celebrates Gil's legacy through the rhythms, songs, and spirit of Bahia.
