About

An evening of jazz dedicated to the rarely performed compositions of pianist and educator Ellis Marsalis. Jason Marsalis, Ellis's son, leads an ensemble through hidden gems from his father's original catalog, bringing fresh perspective to music marked by Ellis's lyrical style, harmonic sophistication, and deep New Orleans roots. The performance offers a rare chance to hear an overlooked side of one of jazz's most influential artists.
