A live jazz show at The Django, a music venue on the cellar level of the Roxy Hotel. The Brent Canter Quartet is led by guitarist Brent Canter, joined by Christian Li on keyboards, Noah Garabedian on bass and Ross Pederson on drums. Canter plays a distinctly contemporary take on jazz, blending post-bop with alternative rock and drum and bass, marked by often-distorted guitar, deep grooves and memorable melodies. A Los Angeles native shaped by the New York scene and a former student of Kenny Burrell, he has earned praise from publications including Jazz Times and the Wall Street Journal.
