Nir Felder Trio
The Django, 6th Avenue 2, 10013 New York, Manhattan
About
Nir Felder Trio is a live jazz show at The Django, a club on the cellar level of the Roxy Hotel on the Avenue of the Americas. It is led by guitarist Nir Felder, called "the next big jazz guitarist" by NPR, with Joe Martin on bass and Ofri Nehemya on drums. Felder, who grew up outside New York City playing rock bands and studying jazz, became a sought-after sideman for artists like Diana Krall, Brad Mehldau and John Mayer before forming his own critically acclaimed groups. His trio music blends jazz improvisation with other genres in new ways.
