About

Jeff Harnar brings his award-winning show 'I Know Things Now: My Life in Sondheim's Words' to the Birdland Jazz Club. Drawing on the words and music of Stephen Sondheim, Harnar creates a personal self-portrait of the emotional landscape of an openly gay New Yorker, singing songs from shows like Follies, Into the Woods, Company and Passion. He is joined by music director Jon Weber on piano, Steve Doyle on bass and Ray Marchica on drums, in a show directed by Sondra Lee and dedicated to her memory. The performance received Stephen Sondheim's personal endorsement and was recorded as a MAC Award-winning album.
