Tours and walks
Before-hours tour of Nike: Form Follows Motion.
About
An early-access, before-opening gallery talk and walkthrough of the exhibition Nike: Form Follows Motion, led by an expert guide and Nike sneaker collector. Visitors see design rarities, archival prototypes, sketches and collab installations, learning how Nike's partnerships with sports legends spur innovation and how the brand shaped NYC's sneaker culture. The exhibition is organized by the Vitra Design Museum, Weil am Rhein, Germany, curated by Glenn Adamson with assistant curator Marcella Hanika, exhibition design by JA Projects and graphic design by Daniel Streat, Visual Fields. The tour lasts about an hour, and the ticket includes admission to the entire museum once it opens.
