About

Teen ArtsLab: Design in Motion is a hands-on workshop at the Museum of Arts and Design where teens experiment with low-tech screen printing to make their own custom tote bags and T-shirts. It is led by 2023 Artist in Residence Jacquelyn Strycker and is inspired by the movement, patterns, and design featured in the exhibition Nike: Form Follows Motion. Using hand-cut stencils, tape, and screen fillers, participants explore layering, repetition, and pattern to develop original designs. No prior screen-printing experience is necessary, and registration is required in advance.
