About

NYCResistor Ham Radio Club is the monthly amateur radio club meeting of NYC Resistor, held at its space on 87 Third Avenue, 4th Floor, in Brooklyn. The club, with call sign N2YCR, is open to everyone: no Resistor membership or radio license is needed. It brings together radio hackers, antenna experimenters, shortwave listeners and satellite chasers, and welcomes people bringing projects, gear to fix or just curiosity about the hobby. Attendees can drop by the #n2ycr Discord channel any time, and the event is masks optional and 18+.
