RISO // NOVEMBER

RISO // NOVEMBER is a two-day risograph printing course, running Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Instructor John Andrews teaches it at the EFA Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, the printmaking studio of the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts. Students learn to use the RZ 220 Risograph machine, a digital duplicating process combining screen and Xerox printing with rich, overprintable colors. They make a collaborative collage mini-zine and small multi-colored prints to exchange, covering layering, registration, color separations in Adobe Photoshop, and basic book forms and trimming techniques.
