"Teruko Yokoi: Seasons" is an exhibition of paintings and works on paper by Teruko Yokoi at the Hollis Taggart gallery in Chelsea. It is the second solo show of the artist's work organized by the gallery since it began partnering with her estate in 2025, and it runs through November 25, 2026. The show gathers works from the mid-1950s through the early 2000s that reflect her lasting engagement with the natural world. Across five decades, Yokoi turned her observations of the surrounding landscape into compositions of lyricism and restraint, with the seasons appearing as sensations of light, darkness, growth, and decay rather than literal subjects.
