About

A guided Photo-Walk led by photographer and Oceanus co-curator Michael McWeeney, exploring New York Harbor and its working waterfront through photography. Participants meet Noble Maritime Collection staff in the St. George area, photograph the waterfront and ferry terminal, then ride the Staten Island Ferry round-trip between St. George and Whitehall while experimenting with composition, perspective, light and movement. Afterwards, participants are invited back to the museum for a gallery walk with Michael McWeeney through the Oceanus exhibition, which celebrates the harbor's visual and cultural character.
