About

An artist-in-residence workshop series where participants create original theatrical work through writing and performance. Roundabout teaching artists Ryan C. Kim and Amy E. Witting lead an eight-week intergenerational program in conversation with the Off-Broadway production of "The Heart," a musical adapted from Maylis de Kerangal's novel "Réparer les Vivants." Participants build an ensemble, explore personal and collective stories, and adapt memories, conversations, library resources, and lived experiences into theater. The group will create, rehearse, and share a new performance celebrating the voices, histories, and communities of Queens.
