Roundabout Theatre Company: “In the Heart of Queens,” Artist-in-Residence Workshop

An in-person theatre workshop for adults, seniors, and teens, part of an eight-week intergenerational series. Roundabout teaching artists Ryan C. Kim and Amy E. Witting lead it in conversation with the Off-Broadway musical "The Heart," adapted from Maylis de Kerangal's novel "Réparer les Vivants." Through writing and performance, participants build an ensemble, explore personal and collective stories, and adapt memories, conversations, library resources, and lived experiences into original theatrical work. Together the group creates, rehearses, and shares a new performance celebrating the voices, histories, and communities of Queens.
