About

A public lecture by the Spanish architect Manuel Bouzas, part of the Diane Lewis Student Lecture Series at Cooper Union in Manhattan. Bouzas, an Assistant Professor at Cornell University and curator of the Spanish Pavilion 'Internalities' at the 19th Venice Architecture Biennale, examines the environmental externalities of productive processes through building materials and their source landscapes. His practice, MB—AE, has produced urban installations and exhibitions across Southern Europe, from Madrid to Rome and Valencia. The talk is followed by a Q&A moderated by Helena Uceda and is free with required registration, offered in person and on Zoom.
