Ultimate Healing: Medicine Buddha retreat with Angie Muir.

A Buddhist retreat weekend called "Ultimate Healing: Medicine Buddha Retreat", beginning with an introductory evening talk open to newcomers and experienced practitioners alike. It is led by Venerable Angie Muir, an ordained Tibetan Buddhist teacher who serves as teacher in residence at Vajrapani Institute in California and is offering this retreat in person at Shantideva Center for the first time. The practice combines Medicine Buddha mantra recitation, visualization and meditation with contemplation of the Four Seals of the Dharma, the insights first taught by Shakyamuni Buddha on impermanence, unsatisfactoriness, emptiness and nirvana as peace. The retreat can also be joined online via Zoom, and the Friday session introduces the healing practice and the path to lasting peace before the weekend sessions of teaching.
