Voices From the World: Marius Burokas on Lithuanian Poetry

An hour-long presentation and poetry reading on contemporary Lithuanian poetry and what it means to write close to war. Poet and translator Marius Burokas, active in Lithuania's literary landscape, explores how living in war's shadow shapes poetry and how the tradition has preserved a culture through occupation and censorship. Presented with the Lithuanian Culture Institute, it takes place in Kray Hall and on Zoom.
