'Der Messias - eine Weihnachtskomödie!' is a theatre evening at the Theatersaal Weisser Wind. Two moderately talented actors and a singer with terrible timing attempt to tell the Christmas story in a way that makes sense – on one stage, with countless roles and bulky props. The result is a hilariously comic play about megalomania, failure and the search for meaning, on stage as in life. With Siegmund Tischendorf and Roeland Wiesnekker, songs by Leila Pfister/Stephanie Szanto and direction by Markus Imboden, the evening celebrates the power of fantasy with British humour.
