About
"Die Kunst Katakomben von Zürich" is the opening of the third basement level at Mews House, a house with guest rooms and event spaces. It is run by Mews House, and its library, the Beda Foren, is curated personally by the Swiss creative director Beda Achermann. It brings the largest private library of fine arts in Switzerland, with books and magazines on art, fashion, photography, graphic design and design, and a Music Room with more than 200 vinyl records, created in partnership with the Montreux Jazz Festival. For the 100th birthday of Miles Davis, the house shows fourteen photographs that Michel Comte took of him in 1989, and at 5 pm Comte talks with Beda Achermann.
