About

«Dada Showcase: Slot 16» is a display-case presentation in the Vaulted Cellar of the Cabaret Voltaire, the birthplace of Dada in Zurich. The Cabaret Voltaire sees itself as both a place of remembrance for Dada and a project space for contemporary art and gastronomy. The showcase presents historical documents by the Zurich Dadaists, such as texts and invitation cards, and sets them beside contemporary contributions in the rotating exhibition held in the same room. For the exhibition «DadaZwischenSprachen», the documents come from collections including that of the Kunsthaus Zürich.
