Kindervorlesung: Analoge Mondmission
ETH Zürich, Sonneggstrasse 5, 8006 Zürich, Rieden
About
A children's lecture for kids aged 7 and up, without adults. The speakers are the analogue astronauts Maria Martini, an astrobiologist, and Elias Mulky, a researcher in the field of factories in space. As analogue astronauts, they recreate the challenges of real space missions here on Earth, with real spacesuits, technology and even isolation from the rest of the world. The lecture shows how they prepare for missions in caves, underwater or at the South Pole, and how Earth can suddenly feel like another planet.
