wow² Space – Humans and Space, 31 Oct and 1 Nov 2026

«wow² – Humans and Space» is a public event format by ETH Zurich now in its second edition, spending two days on one question: what are we humans searching for in space, and what does space research bring to our lives on Earth. The free programme brings together science, technology and society and is aimed at a broad audience, from children to teenagers to adults. At talks, live podcasts and debates, visitors meet researchers from lunar research, climate research, gravitational waves and life as an analogue astronaut, including Eleonore Poli, Andreas Prein, Anna Mittelholz, Marco Tempest and Thomas Zurbuchen. There are also the show «BLACK BOX» with Patrick «Karpi» Karpiczenko and Mirko Bischofberger, «Cook the Science» with star chef Markus Stöckli and physics professor Thomas Michaels, the four-legged moon robot LunarLeaper, the student-built Mars rover CRATER, guided tours, planetarium shows and workshops for children and teenagers.
