About
"Landräuber" is a documentary travel diary that combines investigative research with direct encounters and poetic observations. Over two years, filmmaker Fanny Paloma follows indigenous communities whose territories were seized by agricultural companies from the Bolloré group's orbit. Her research leads from Asia via Africa to France, where those affected try to assert their rights using the law on corporate due diligence. The film raises fundamental questions about responsibility, justice and the right to land.
