The Lichterfest is a festival at which the Sihlhölzli park is lit up together. It is put on by Gemeinschaftszentrum Heuried, the Reformed Church of Kreis 3, Quartierarbeit GZ Heuried, the Pfarrei Herz Jesu Wiedikon and Youth. Lanterns for different groups are made beforehand at various places, and the programme offers crafts, communal singing and a fire show by Herz-Feuer, plus a small food and drink stand. Entry is free with a voluntary collection on site, the festival grounds are wheelchair accessible and suited to people with a disability.
