About
The traditional turnip-light parade takes place in Albisrieden every year on the first Saturday of November. Schoolchildren, youth organisations and housing cooperatives build floats with wonderful designs, and musical formations accompany the parade. The route leads via In der Wässeri, Triemlistrasse and Letzigraben to the Letzi sports field, where the imaginative floats can be admired with music and food from the grill. The event is organised by the Verein Räbeliechtliumzug Albisrieden, and spectators are welcome to join the parade by attaching themselves to the GZ Bachwiesen float at the end.
