A public guided tour at Kunsthaus Zürich offers an ideal introduction to the exhibition «Maria Lassnig und Edvard Munch. Malfluss = Lebensfluss». Experienced art educators explain selected works and their historical context: for the first time, the works of Austrian artist Maria Lassnig (1919–2014) and Norwegian painter Edvard Munch (1863–1944) are shown together, in around 170 paintings and works on paper. The tour highlights the surprising common ground between the two, where colour becomes a carrier of emotion and of personal perception, and inner experience takes centre stage. The group meets in the Moser building at the «Führungen» point, and an FM group tour system makes the tour suitable for people with hearing impairments.
