About
A public guided tour offers an inspiring overview of the exhibition «Maria Lassnig und Edvard Munch. Flux picutrial=flux vital». Experienced cultural mediators explain a selection of artworks and their historical context. The exhibition brings together the works of Austrian artist Maria Lassnig (1919–2014) and Norwegian painter Edvard Munch (1863–1944) for the first time; both used painting to express inner experiences such as emotions, bodily sensations and existential questions. With around 170 paintings and works on paper, the tour invites visitors to discover the surprising parallels between the two artists in a stimulating dialogue; the tour is in French.
