Masterpieces - Meisterwerke der Natur
Naturhistorischen Museum der Universität Zürich
About
Masterpieces - Meisterwerke der Natur is a permanent exhibition at the Natural History Museum of the University of Zurich. It shows 50 impressive fossils that nature, as an artist, created in its underground studio over the last 550 million years using pressure and minerals. They are displayed in a room entirely in copper red, with a fluffy carpet, glass vitrines and subdued light. Visitors dive into a world of aesthetics.
