About
At the «Räben schnitzen und Räbelichtli–Umzug», turnips are carved together and then carried through district 4 as carved Räbelichtli lanterns. The event is run by the Quartierzentrum Bäckeranlage neighbourhood centre together with the Gugge Flying Dorias, and residents along the route are invited to festively light up their windows and entrances. Everyone can join the carving on Friday, 6 November from 15:30 to 18:00 at the Bullingertreff, while the parade gathers from 17:00 at the Bullingerhof and sets off at 17:30. At the end there is tea and a little pastry figure for all children, and the parade takes place in any weather.
