Texte ohne Grenzen – نصوص بلا حدود — Der Rauch unserer Stimmen: mit Zaher Al Jamous und Mona Al Assi

"Der Rauch unserer Stimmen" is an Arabic-German evening of readings and conversation as part of the Texte ohne Grenzen series. The Palestinian poet Mona Al Assi and the Syrian prose writer Zaher Al Jamous, who have both lived in Switzerland for over ten years and write in Arabic, read texts shaped by memories of their homeland and the inner rupture of exile. Christian Moser accompanies the evening musically on the oud, with Ana Sobral moderating. Ivana Martinović reads in German, with Usama Al Shahmani interpreting.
