About
An exhibition on the architecture competition for a replacement building for the childcare facility at the Auhof school site, showing all competition entries. It is organised by the City of Zurich, which plans to consolidate childcare in a larger new building and to ecologically upgrade the outdoor space as a meeting place for the neighbourhood. The existing one-storey building from 1959 cannot accommodate day-school care for twelve primary classes and two kindergartens. The school complex and the Auhof outdoor pool form a listed ensemble designed by architect Ernst Gisel.
