About
Adenauer auf der Wolke is an exhibition of caricatures and cartoons about Konrad Adenauer, the first Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung presents it at its Academy in Berlin. For Adenauer's 150th birthday, 47 satirical artists created new works that show him seated on a cloud as a thoughtful, critical or amused observer of politics, society and current affairs. A digital presentation of selected historical works traces the development of this motif.
