Bundeskanzler-Helmut-Kohl-Stiftung
About
A scholarly colloquium about the CDU/CSU after the Adenauer era. The Bundeskanzler-Helmut-Kohl-Stiftung is hosting its 8th scholarly colloquium on the book “Adenauer's Heirs: The CDU/CSU from Détente to Reunification”. The author Dr. Ronald Granieri and Dr. Hugo Müller-Vogg present the years that were decisive for the union; the discussion is moderated by Dr. Michael Borchard. It also explores how Helmut Kohl prevailed against Rainer Barzel and Franz-Josef Strauß and how a party can preserve its brand core while reaching new groups of voters. The event is aimed at a specialist audience; those interested can contact the foundation by email.
