Alpenspaziergang

“Alpenspaziergang” is a micro concert featuring the brass ensemble “Samtblech” together with the speaker and former tuba player Georg Schwark. It is devoted to the writer Robert Walser, a passionate hiker, and seeks to bring him to life – witty and thoughtful, comically serious – surrounded by wonderful Alpine music on the highest exhibition floors of the building. The programme includes works by Franz Schubert, Othmar Schoeck, Joseph Horovitz, traditional pieces and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The concert by the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin starts in room 309 on the third floor and continues in room 315; it is recommended from age 6 and is held in German.
