ART, GRAPHISME, ENGAGEMENT : Une présentation du groupe Grapus

The French bookshop Zadig in Berlin-Mitte hosts a presentation titled "ART, GRAPHISME, ENGAGEMENT : Une présentation du groupe Grapus". Graphic artist and photographer Alex Jordan, who was part of Grapus's core, and historian Pascal Guillot will present the group. Grapus was a collective of some 80 graphic designers of the 1970s and 1980s who rejected advertising as mystifying and polluting and instead wanted to serve social needs, claiming a single collective signature. The occasion is the publication of Guillot's book "GRAPUS — UN COLLECTIF DE GRAPHISTES DANS LES ANNÉES 70 ET 80" published by Éditions L'échappée.
