AUSSTELLUNG: CORRESPONDENCE – Roger Ballen · Johnny Miller · René Groebli · Thomas Hoepker · Yasuhiro Ogawa
Galerie Buchkunst Berlin, Oranienburger Str. 27 10117 Berlin
About
The photo exhibition CORRESPONDENCE opens with a vernissage at Galerie Buchkunst Berlin, where Johnny Miller will be present and sign his new book Unequal Scenes. It brings together five photographers who have shaped the gallery: Roger Ballen, Johnny Miller, René Groebli, Thomas Hoepker and Yasuhiro Ogawa. The title describes the relationships that arose between the gallery and the artists, between the artists and their works, and between the audience and the images themselves. The show includes works from Das Auge der Liebe, Unequal Scenes, Salt Works and Tales of the Islands, as well as pictures of Muhammad Ali and September 11, 2001.
