About
"Auf der Schotterpiste der Geschichte 5: Die strauchelnde Welt" is a talk in the DT Kontext series at Deutsches Theater Berlin. Historian Philipp Blom is a guest on the occasion of his new book "Die strauchelnde Welt", moderated by André Mumot. It explores the roots of today's existential crises of democracy, wars and global warming, which Blom traces between 9/11 and Russia's annexation of Crimea – from the USA losing credibility with the Iraq war, to Berlusconi's rise to power, the market displacing the welfare state, and the widening gap between rich and poor.
