A memorial event for Klaus Hesse (1955–2026), who from 1986 helped prepare the documentation “Topographie des Terrors” and shaped the Documentation Centre's permanent exhibition. After a welcome by director Dr. Andrea Riedle, Prof. Dr. Andreas Nachama speaks on Hesse as exhibition curator and Prof. Dr. Gerhard Paul on the state and perspectives of visual history. Hesse was a respected expert in visual history and remained connected to the institution even after retirement. Admission is free; registration by 27 October is requested.
