Bande á Part presents MASTICAR EL REZO

"MASTICAR EL REZO" is a dance and performance event presented by Bande á Part, a danceable gathering for outsiders. Created by J. René Guerra and performed by Laura DeAngelis of the collective Boneless Light, the piece is a poetic forensics of hate made after the U.S. attack on Venezuela in early 2026. A Venezuelan director activates a telematic device to intervene in the body of a North American performer, taking Humberto Costantini's poem as a score. The piece interrogates guilt and immunity across North-South asymmetry and transforms the theater into a real-time census of survivors.
