A beginner barista course with no prior knowledge required, where up to eight participants learn the way to the perfect espresso in three hours. Godshot shows how a velvety, oily espresso with nut and cocoa notes is extracted using professional equipment from ECM and Ascaso. The trainer helps with setting the grind, and there is time to ask questions and taste the espressos. Topics include how portafilter machines work, dosing, tamping, spotting mistakes and cleaning the machine.
