About
The Brasil Orchester Berlin performs in the Großer Saal under the artistic direction of Andréa Huguenin Botelho a concert that combines Brazilian soundscapes with European concert tradition, celebrating the accordion as instrument of the year 2026. The guest is the renowned Brazilian accordionist Inácio Botêlho, who connects traditional Brazilian rhythms with modern timbres. The programme features works by Sivuca as well as Botêlho's own compositions, presented by the Kulturstiftung Schloss Britz. The result is a varied musical dialogue between Brazilian folk music, classical concert tradition and contemporary influences.
