About
A double concert featuring the two Berlin bands "Blechblase" and "Bloco Calango". Blechblase play funky and jazzy sounds on trumpets, trombones, saxophones, sousaphone and drums, with their own arrangements in the worldwide tradition of street music, from places like Addis Ababa, New Orleans or São Paulo. Bloco Calango, founded in 1995 as a samba band, now performs mainly Caribbean rhythms with vocals, brass, guitar and accordion, including cumbia, salsa, bolero, samba and bossa nova. Admission is free, donations are welcome.
