»Ihr löscht das Feuer mit Benzin«: Biermann's diaries.

A book presentation and discussion of »Ihr löscht das Feuer mit Benzin«, the first volume of Wolf Biermann's diaries. The historian Dr. Ilko-Sascha Kowalczuk, scholarly advisor at the DDR Museum, edits excerpts from the diaries for the first time, presenting an artist who consistently challenged the East German regime. The talk is moderated by Dr. Liza Soutschek. The event is part of the »Berlin Freedom Week« and takes place in the DDR Museum's conference room at Sankt Wolfgang-Str. 2.
