About

A book presentation evening at Museum Berlin-Karlshorst is devoted to Viktor Remizov's novel "Permafrost". The novel's translator Franziska Zwerg and political scientist Félix Krawatzek explore how literature addresses the world of forced labour camps under the Stalinist terror in the Soviet Union of the 1930s and 1940s centred on the building of the "Great Stalin Railway", moderated by Nina Frieß of ZOiS. Admission is free, and registration by e-mail is requested.
