About

A reading and conversation centered on the book „Augen für die Kunst“, which presents 50 outstanding artists of the past and present through one of their paintings, sculptures or installations each. Author Hans Dickel reads pointed texts, among others on Giovanni Bellini, Caspar David Friedrich, Henri Matisse and Jeff Wall, exploring questions of beauty and meaning, accompanied by a large-format presentation of the images. Sabine Ziegenrücker of the Museum Reinickendorf gives the welcome. The event is a cooperation between the museum and the Stadtbibliothek Reinickendorf as part of „Bühnentausch“.
