About
A concert by singer and ukulele player Charlotte Pelgen, who has established herself on stages and especially in the international ukulele scene with swing of the 1920s and 30s. She now presents her own songs: poetic, personal stories – sometimes winking, sometimes thoughtful – carried by the rhythms and harmonies of the early 20th century, imbued with the fine humor and depth of the chanson and shaped by the melodies of European folk. Her bright soprano and her large, softly sounding baritone ukulele prove to be versatile, fine instruments. Her new album is called "My Rain".
