This presentation on the Objekt-Bühne inside the Open Depot explores how club culture can be preserved and shown within a museum. Rosa Räthel, Michael Müller and Alexander Renz are behind the project. After the Berlin club Mensch Meier closed, it handed a group of objects to the Werkbundarchiv – Museum der Dinge, which forms the material of the show. At its centre is the question whether club culture can be collected, documented and exhibited at all, and if so, how.
