"Schattenleben": comic reading on life without papers.

The evening is a comic reading centered on "Schattenleben", a comic reportage about four people without papers telling of their lives without documents in Germany. Appearing are journalist Jonas Seufert, comic artist Lisa Frühbeis and Brienne, one of the book's protagonists. Brienne comes from Thailand and fought her way out of forced prostitution in Germany, putting her boss in prison. The book is the result of five years of intensive research, dozens of conversations, and the four protagonists' joint work with Seufert and Frühbeis on their stories.
