Das Geheimnis, der Tunnel und Helmut
Studiobühne, Luxemburger Straße 20, 13353 Berlin, Friedrichshain
About
A puppet theatre piece for children aged 9 and up. Behind the piece is Figurentheater Ute Kahmann. It tells of a child whose new father, Helmut, carries a secret: he helped people flee from East to West and was imprisoned for it. Only after the opening of the Wall does his secret come to light; the piece is about courage, fear and the struggle between speaking and silence.
