Deutschland und die Sowjetunion im Zweiten Weltkrieg is the permanent exhibition of Museum Berlin-Karlshorst. The museum presents the war through the eyes of both German and Soviet actors, using texts, historical photographs, everyday objects and written documents to introduce individuals and their personal stories. It also deals with the consequences of the war up to the present day, a conflict the German Reich waged against the Soviet Union from 22 June 1941 and which ended in Europe on 8 May 1945. Its themed rooms cover the war chronicle of 1941–1945, Soviet prisoners of war, German occupation rule, and war aftermath and remembrance.
