GEORG KREISLER: ADAM SCHAF HAT ANGST
Theater im Palais, Am Festungsgraben 1, 10117 Berlin, Mitte

About
A musical in two acts for one actor by Georg Kreisler. The deeply melancholy title character Adam Schaf sings funny songs as proof of his sadness; his memories of the difficult path out of war become a cynical, humorous take on Germany of yesterday and today. Berlin singer and actor Dennis Weissert sings and plays the piece, with Bijan Azadian directing musically at the piano. Weissert spans a bow from the German cabaret tradition to the glamour of the American Broadway.
